Facts About Me
Breed: Anatolian Shepherd/Mastiff Mix
Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
Size: (when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Fezzik was returned because he was showing behavior with the small dogs in the house that concerned his adopters. He has been with NorCal K9 Adventure since doing board and train. She has been able to do proper introductions and socialization, but because of Fezzik's size, it would be best if he was just an only animal. He is pretty possessive of his stuff that is important to him, so he is a dog that will need on-going work and if you are looking for a huge pup to work with (which anyone who has put in the time to train knows that it builds an amazing bond between dog and owner). He has received a lot of basic training with Anny, which means that at least you will know what you are getting!
Original post: Fezzik is a HUGE puppy, so if you are opposed to Clifford sized dogs, this is not the one for you! He was originally purchased from a breeder to be a livestock guard dog, however, he wanted to be in the house and chase the chickens- so he was dumped at the shelter. They said he was a mix of an Anatolian Shepherd and a Asian shepherd (breeds Mac our at 110-140 pounds). We were told he was about 4 months old, but his teeth say he is likely 3 months (or younger). He is a little shy with dogs bigger than him, but he loves to play with them. He is derpy, so he may not be a trick dog, unless the trick is being a super cute oversized puppy- that he excels at!
