Jenny

Jenny grew up in your average suburban home with a cat, a dog and a few fish but always wanted more. She would visit her uncle’s sheep ranch in Oregon every once in a while during the summer and would be in heaven. Between the sheep, goats, cows, dogs and everything else running around up there she felt like a kid in a candy store. When she moved out on her own and into an apartment with a roommate she ended up getting a puppy together and loved the challenge of training a puppy and watching how she reacted differently to each of their different training skills. Unfortunately, her roommate moved out and took the dog with her leaving Jenny with an empty space in her house and heart. Jenny ended up adopting 2 kittens that stayed with her for 14 years through the good and the bad.

Jenny now lives in her own home with her husband, their 4 dogs, one of whom is a Recycled Pet foster failure. Their life is crazy wonderful with their dogs and they wouldn’t have it any other way. Jenny and her husband, Tate (another RPNC volunteer) have discovered so much joy in helping to find homeless animals their happy endings and educating people along the way. In their words, RPNC is a wonderful rescue that just wants to help animals in need but has a lot of fun in the process.
